Monthly Event - 26 September 2025

Match Report - Indooroopilly Golf Club

This year we were hosted by Christian Gillott Chief Executive Officer of the Indooroopilly Golf Club for the September Monthly event. After last years successful visit we looked forward to playing the new City Nine Indro. We were not disappointed. It was challenging (as the scores reflect) but very enjoyable. 

Thanks must go to Treasurer Roger Gibson for organising the day which was preceded by our Management Committee meeting in the newly renovated Clubhouse.

Interestingly, the winning score was the same as last year with Ross Bishop taking the honours with 19 points, Peter Kyffin was second with 18 points on a count back from Rob King-Scott. Our host Christian performed very well at his first attempt at hickory scoring 17 points including a birdie on the 8th.

Yesterdays experience suggests the event will become a permanent fixture on the HGQ calendar.
