2025 Queensland Hickory Championships

The Championship held at Brisbane Golf Club this year as an 18 hole event attracted 19 participants. Conditions were over cast with a threat of rain that eventuated over the closing holes.  Alan Grieve carded a very impressive 73 to win the trophy by 7 shots from Michael Mason on 80. 

Alan gave a display of near perfect driving and iron play with 4 birdies on the trot!

Michael Mason, a visitor from Noosa Springs Golf Club, shot an impressive 80 ruined at times by the occasional wayward shot.  

This year there was no Stableford event, instead a 2 shot mercy rule applied which seemed to work well. Roger Gibson was winner of the net event on a count back from Ross Bishop with a net 69. Results appear below.
