The popular HGQ Monthly Event is held on the last Friday of every month in 2025:
Summer tee offs are at 3:30 pm and 2:30 pm in winter. We invite HGQ members and member's guests to an enjoyable afternoon of nine holes of hickory golf. The event is well known for its generosity of prizes and the camaraderie of all during and after the game.
Period dress is encouraged but not compulsory. For those new to hickory golf the event serves as a good introduction - learn to play golf the way it use to be played.
Loan clubs are also available upon request, without charge.
Monthly scores count towards HGQ Player of the Year a hotly contested event but to be eligible you must be a member.
Competition fees are $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
