The popular HGQ Monthly Event is held on the first Friday of every month, usually at the Royal Queensland Golf Club. We invite HGQ members and member's guests to an enjoyable afternoon of nine holes of hickory golf. The event is well known for its generosity of prizes and the comradery of all during and after the game. Period dress is encouraged, even if it's just a nice cap and vest, but is not compulsory. For those new to hickory golf the event serves as a good introduction to the world of hickory golf. Loan clubs are also available upon request, without charge. Monthly scores count towards HGQ Player of the Year a hotly contested event. We look forward to seeing you soon. Happy golfing!
